Ascheri Giacomo
History
Cantine Ascheri Giacomo has its origins in La Morra: in those places, where there is still a place called "Ascheri", at the beginning of the 19th century the first vines were planted and the first wines produced. In 1880 the Ascheri Cellars were transferred to Bra, where they are still located today and where they remain the only custodians of this ancient and noble tradition.
People
Today, Cantina Ascheri Giacomo is an established and prestigious winery. The family has chosen to limit as much as possible the use of technology, the influence of wood and the use of additives, in order to obtain the clearest possible expression of the vineyard.
Vineyards
The original vineyards in La Morra have been joined by others in Serralunga d'Alba, Verduno and Bra.
