History
The history of the winery began in 1983, with the foundation of the company by Giacomo, Flavio's father, who is still involved in the work of the winery. In 1997 Flavio took over and continues the family tradition. The production is numerically small, the Saglietti winery has never wanted to get bigger, in order to be able to maintain a style, an idea, a completely artisanal quality.
People
The family is the value on which Flavio Saglietti bases his activity as a wine producer. Flavio is supported by his wife and by his young son Matteo.
Vineyards
There are 5 hectares of vineyards in the village of La Morra, in Cerequio and Brunate, areas that have always been suited to obtaining great wines; to these are added a few hectares of hazelnuts.
Wines
The wines produced reflect the Langa grape varieties: you will find Dolcetto d'Alba, Barbera d'Alba and two Barolos, from Cerequio and Brunate.
